Pure Cycle Engineering have been designing and consulting on a large scale, innovative, waste to energy project based in southern India for a number of years. The site is complex in terms of its shape, proximity to flood plains and rivers, road access, and the waste morphology is a challenging and changing one.
Our design has evolved with the project, and we have consulted and assisted our client throughout the planning stages, funding and due diligence stages, and coming up with a well engineered design for the entire waste reception, biodrying and fuel production facility.
The site is designed to receive 330 tpd of MSW, pre-shred and bio-dry this material to reduce the high moisture content in the waste, and then produce a consistent RDF for the on-site gasification plant. The technology used for the plant is of the highest industry standards and as such we have a very innovative, flexible, and unique design.
Civil works on the site began in Q2 2020 and full mechanical installation will follow.
